I am arguing the Call because it was wrong. Not that it cost us the game because it didn't. Either way we would have lost that game for two reasons. Murray's fumble and most importantly we couldn't get to Rodgers and the defense was spent and dragging after their effort. Rodgers would have no doubt got them into field goal position to win or something. We just didn't have the defense that you need at this level. No way you let a gimpy QB that can't move beat you. Can't happen.

Tough loss, Cowboyz1. Cowboys played as well as they could.

Two questions: 1) if the Cowboys would've lost even if the Dez play had been ruled a catch, why are you arguing so much about it? 2) Did you think the Cowboys running a play with an empty backfield on 3 and 1 early in the third quarter was a factor in them losing? In my mind, that was a terrible coaching decision, to not make the defense have to worry about Murray running for the first down.

I don't care what anyone says. That was one of the greatest catches in playoff history. No way should they have taken that away from him. He had the ball the entire time ever after stretching for the TD. That call just isn't a football call. It's a rules interpretation, which has really no business in this game. You make a catch like that, you earn the right to have it stand period. If stretching for a TD with the ball isn't a football move then i don't know what the heck you have to do anymore. AT Worst is was a catch at the half yard line, at BEST it was a catch fumble, Touchdown. Sadly these guys fight to hard to make a play like that to have some bull####e interpretation over rule it. It's bad for the game and tears the heart out of players that put their bodies on the line to make plays like that. He was in control of the ball the entire time. If that isn't a catch in any level of football then the game is no longer real. It's sad really.

That said, I still think we lose the game in spite of it because the defense was just spent. They fought like men but couldn't get the pressure you have to get in a game like this against a QB that can't move. Watching them stagger back to the huddle made me admire them so much.

Murray's fumble was the number 1 factor in why we lost that game. That and the defense that couldn't get to Rodgers.The fumble was a big reason we lost this game. Murray would still be running had he of not fumbled. Romo should probably should have thrown the ball away a couple of times but all in all a great game worthy of a Divisional playoff game.

The magical ride has come to an end. I have to tell you that was one hell of a game. The defense played their guts out. Even had we have gotten the call which never should have been in question, Rodgers was going to go down and get in field goal range and beat us. This game showed we just don't have the defense to play at this level "YET". Rodgers played as a statue and we couldn't get pressure. That was the game right there. At this level you have to be able to get to a gimpy Rodgers. They couldn't and they lost because of it. They fought all game long and you could tell they were spent. McClain going down again was a killer. Romo played a great game, protected the ball, and made plays.

Now Jerry, please pay all your coaches and keep them together. Keep this Offense intact. Draft for defense and we are SB contenders next year.

I am so proud of this Cowboys team and look forward to next year as we are back baby.

Good win Green Bay and congrats to GB fans. Good luck the rest of the way. However, I don't see Rodgers surviving against a defense that surely will get pressure.

That's how I see it. No reason to hang your heads boys. You fought a GREAT fight and earned he respect of the league, your coach, and non fans and fans alike. The future is bright and I can't wait for next year.

Great post. I really liked our team this year. I am not going to get into the catch reversal because it doesn't matter. I hated to see the season end because Dallas made it fun to watch their games again. Great season.
