Help! First timer in 10-team auction with shallow bench (1 Viewer)

I rely on FBG to win my snake draft leagues. But now I am playing in a higher stakes auction (0.5 PPR, 10 teams with 12 players).

10 teams x 12 players means only 120 players drafted.  We start 1QB, 2RB, 2 WR 1 Flex and a K and DEF and only 4 bench players. The waiver wire will be huge.

I am the only FBG playing and I generally covet RBs.

I thinking that I should spend whatever it takes to get D. Johnson, another RB1, one WR 1, and a top QB and fill in the rest?

Should I employ an extreme stars and scrubs given 120 players drafted, a short bench, and my informational advantage?

Here are the draft dominator value for the top 15 in my league:

RB1    David Johnson    $80
RB2    LeVeon Bell    $65
WR1    Antonio Brown    $58
WR2    Julio Jones    $52
WR3    Odell Beckham Jr    $46
RB3    LeSean McCoy    $44
WR4    Mike Evans    $44
RB4    Melvin Gordon    $40
WR5    Jordy Nelson    $40
WR6    A.J. Green    $39
RB5    Devonta Freeman    $38
RB6    Jay Ajayi    $36
RB7    Jordan Howard    $35
WR7    Michael Thomas    $34
WR8    Amari Cooper    $32

Smaller lineups makes having studs more important.  Not saying blowing most of your money on 3 studs, but you better get at least 1.

Yes.   I plan to get Johnson and another top back. The mock drafts show that I will have to spend $120- $130 doing this.  Then I need to find a WR and QB and have at least $10-$15 left.

I might nominate Ertz first and grab him.
