12 teams 5 keepers...big money league...NO trades till 5 keepers are set by each team.

I finished 4th last season so I will have pick 9 in a NFL style draft...

We start...1QB, 2 RB, 2WR, 1 flex at RB or WR, TE, K , Def

scoring QBs...1 pt/50, 6 pt tds, 5pts at 250... RBs, WRs...1/25, 6 PT TDs, 1 PPR 5 points at 100 yards...TEs 1/25, 1 PPR, 5 pts at 75 yards.

All teams keep 5 and no trades till 5 keepers are set.

My choices:
Brady
Leveon Bell
Lamar Miller
Ingram
Hyde
Bilal Powell
TY Hilton
Nuk Hopkins
Keenan Allen
Greg Olsen

Bell, Hilton, Brady and Olsen are easy choices.  The last one is much tougher.

It comes down to Miller, Hopkins or Allen.  I would lean toward Hopkins.  I don't really trust Miller, and Allen can't stay healthy.

I'm in the minority it seems, but I wouldn't keep Olsen. I think all these changes the Panthers are doing on offense, hurt him more than anyone. He's like my 8th choice off this list.

I'd keep:

Bell, Hilton, Allen, Miller and Hopkins. That gives you a solid core, and allows you freedom to do anything in the draft, as QB and TE can easily be filled outside the top-60. I wouldn't be worried about keeping 2 Texans, as they are the entire offense, and both could finish top-10 at their positions.

I would agree with this assessment.  I don't think Olsen is an automatic keep either for the reasons stated by travdogg.  I also am not afraid of Allen's injury history as they are all strange injuries that go towards bad luck rather than injury prone.  I mean a lacerated kidney?  That isn't an injury prone situation.  I think the injury talk is way overblown for Allen and in a PPR he should be in line for a great season.

I was a little confused by the scoring for yards.  You stated 1 pt/50 yds passing and then 5 pts for 250 yds.  Does that mean a QB that throws for 250 gets 10 pts?  If so this pumps Brady up a bit and makes him more of a choice.  I am just not sure who I would take him over.  It would also depend how many other teams will keep QB's.  What kind of choice would you have in the draft?  If there will be 10 QB's frozen I would probably keep Brady and let Miller go.

That's the way I read it....which is why Brady is such an easy choice.

In a 5 keeper league, I would assume 6-7 QBs will be kept.  So I can see why some might throw Brady back, but I wouldn't.

Bell, Hopkins, Hilton and Brady for sure.

You might want to take the surging Hyde over Keenan Allen or Lamar Miller. Allen seems injury prone and Miller is going to lose carries to Foreman.
