HELP - new to SuperFlex and need your advise (1 Viewer)

Projections I see for Tua are only about 2400-2500 passing yards for 2020.  That's probably why he is so low at this point...

If by chance he goes, looking to take someone like James White, Sony Michel, Michael Gallup, John Brown...   I could snake pick Mayfield....  18 QB's off the board.  1 team doesn't have a QB yet and 4 teams only have 1.

Mayfield isn't a bad upside play right now.  He still has great weapons and now a much better offensively minded coach.  You have Wilson for stability so some risk here isn't bad.
Looks like Mayfield is gone as is Tua

I wouldn't touch White, Michel, or Brown this early. Gallup would be a great pick.

Just noticed Magento's team got both those qbs. Love that team. He should be competitive this year and really good in the future.

2400 passing yards is still well above QB #52, which tends to be around .... 0 passing yards. I feel like this is one of those ADP for redraft type issues. I am not in a dynasty league, but in a keeper league I have got great value getting good players who are suspended or slightly injured where their ADP drops 6 rounds because they might miss 4 games. That matters a lot more for a single season than all of them. Looks like Tua is is slipping through the cracks since he is not projected to start.

Also, Mayfield was drafted.

Too bad you didn't get Mayfield.  Would have been a great pick.

It's tough seeing all those young upside QBs go so close to your picks. You definitely need a 3rd QB, but at this point there's likely going to be better players on the board at other positions.

That trade is haunting you still a bit...at some point you're likely going to have to pass on a value RB/WR/TE to bite the bullet and reach for your 3rd before the well is completely dry.

Looking at your roster it probably hurt you most at WR. At this point Gallup becomes almost a must-get, even if you have to move up to do it. It's a lot to expect 1 rookie WR to be great in his 1st season, much less 2.

I like Lamb & Jeudy, but I kinda hate both of their landing spots. Lots of mouths to feed on both teams, and you've really put a lot of investment into 2 rookies. I could see taking 1 of those guys with a more proven player, but man - at this point Boyd is your WR1. That's....hard to compete with, even if both your rookies end up being WR2-types, which isn't a guarantee.

Lots of draft left...maybe you'll land some bargains.

I lost out on Tua.......

I took James White..  trying to catch up on qb's taken.....  one team took B2B qb's (Mayfield / Tua).

I am not a fan of the White pick.  He just never seems like a good play to me.  When I have had him I have always guessed wrong on his good games.

Got him for the catches....

Have 2 guys wanting my pick here....   1 of the 2 guys only has 1 QB.....    Should I take Justin Herbert here?  Tannehill, Minshew D Carr are available.

Kinda eyeing Michael Gallup, Sony Michel,  Diontae Johnson, Christian Kirk, Marlon Mack, John Brown

Same. With Brady gone especially. We just don’t kNow what to expect from that offense.

even with Brady there, White always seemed like a fallback “well it’s the 10th round, f it” option than a reliable RB3.

Hardman or Gallup seem like the best value WT. on the board.  I’d avoid Michele (and I own him in dynasty) - the foot is troubling.

same with Mack - so many mouths to feed.

as mentioned, I like Hardman better regardless, but you have Lamb, so diversification is probably a good idea anyway.

I'm gonna take Justin Herbert...  Both Wilson and Stafford are 32....

No qb here. Gallup, Johnson, Kirk all great choices. No on Mack and Michel and Brown

I think that would be a big mistake. Right now is when you have to get good value on wide receivers and running back‘s because that well is going to dry up in a hurry.

you should be ok at quarterback for a couple of years. You definitely need a third quarterback as a back up and has a futures player, but you don’t need him right now this minute.

I don't worry about that as much in dynasty situations.  Too many things change and now you could have two good choices if they move teams or something else happens.  Take the talent in dynasty and worry about diversification in redrafts.

In general, sure. But at least for 2020/2021 he’d have 2 WR on the same team, what are the odds of both receivers having great days at the same time, much less with any sort of consistency?

if Gallup were the only top option on the board I would ignore that and take him. But if Nicole Hartman is there as well, I see those two players is a relative coin flip and will probably diversify.

Agreed.  Hardman is one Hill injury away from being a fantasy stud.

I will look for Hardman in the 11th.  Passed on Gallup.  He went pick right after me, but....  I have Zeke and CeeDee Lamb.  That was final factor in not taking Gallup.  Didn't want 3 Dallas players on my roster...

Best teams through rd10 are Magneto & Bane. Worst are Juggernaut & Red Skull. Highest variance team is Venom, with some great picks like Moore & Deebo but also some bad ones like Thielen & Higbee.

BPA at this point are rookie WRs and last year's first rd TEs.

Some of these players have already fallen further than they normally would in dynasty

be careful to not fall into the trap of complacency in thunking they’ll be there later because they’re there now.

IMO Hardman is one of the best young investments left on the board.

You’llpoyentialy miss a lot of value that way

Sorry, had made my last pick as I wasn't home at the time.  Had made the pick from app on my phone.

I just took Latavius Murray....

I just took Jordan Love....

Probably gonna stop updating picks...  We are in round 15 and draft 27 rounds...  Now, it's just filling out roster spots.

I appreciate the conversation.....  Good luck to all of you in your drafts!!!!
