Help with free agent auction system on sportsline (1 Viewer)

For you sportsline users out there, can someone in the know describe how the free agent auction system works? I really need to pickup a QB this week, and Pennington is available.

If I place multiple bids, say one for $5, one for $10, and one for $15, and the highest from the other owners is $9, do I get Pennington for $10, or would I end up spending $15 anyway?

I don't like the idea of this blind bid, non max-bid system (as in not like Ebay where you only pay $1 more than the other bids up to your max).

It is in the rules on the site but if you bid on Chad for 15 then you get him for 15.

Dude, the "rules" don't describe anything on the details of how the FAAB works. Just like everything else on Sportsline that is very vague and non-descriptive.

I guess I was hoping there was a way to fake it for a psuedo max-bid type of system, but it appears it can't work that way.
