Henne emerging as the starter in Miami? (1 Viewer)

Chad Henne is gaining the support of the locker room in the Dolphins' quarterback competition.

Veteran starters Yeremiah Bell and Vonnie Holliday both spoke out in his favor. Henne has ran the first team for three straight practices and showed better poise than John Beck or Josh McCown. He has a real chance to start Week 1.

I guess someone has to win the job. Miami is a FF wasteland this year as far as I'm concerned.

Might as well. NE, NYJ, and Buffalo are miles ahead of Miami in the talent department. Miami needs to build the youth they have on that team and take its lumps.

Don't be surprised if Parcells starts up talks with Pennington's agent.
I won't berotoworld:

The Dolphins have already made contact with the agent for Chad Pennington, according to the Palm Beach Post.

The Dolphins will surely wait for Pennington to be cut rather than trade for him, but he could immediately replace Josh McCown on Miami's roster. Pennington may lack McCown's arm strength, but he's considerably more accurate and would give the Dolphins better competition for rookie Chad Henne.

he's going to end up being a great value for where he was going in dynasty drafts.
Hope you're right. 3.07 in a 16 team IDP. I was happy with that.
In a rookie/FA draft in Hyper Active I I nabbed him in the 3rd round I think. This was in May. Just took a flier on him since my QB's are Romo, Garcia, Moore. This would be nice if he became the starter...I drafted the guy 94th in a rookie/FA draft a couple of weeks ago. If he gets the job he's my 3rd QB over Croyle.

Frankly, I'm not too surprised. He's always been an intelligent guy and would have been a top 10 pick (IMO, at least above Flacco) had he not battled injuries, along with others on the team.

I took him in every dynasty league I could.

Laying an egg to Appalachian State didn't help either...

Easily the best game of the year and probably one of my top-ten greatest games ever, at least for teams that I couldn't care less about. God that was awesome.
