His next game is in 16 days, it's a good move from that perspective. Treatment and rest for the next 10-12 days, and then back to practice for the Buffalo game at home. What's interesting is that without admitting it outright, the Pats don't view this game as a must win, out of conference vs. a somewhat lesser opponent. BB would never admit any of that publicly, you can't disrespect your opponent and there's never a sure win the the NFL, but it's a wise move. If it was a playoff game, he'd "give it a shot" and they would at least wait until game day to rule him out.

I did but it probably did me little good. I roster Rudolph and Hernandez at 1.5 PPR FFPC league and when Hernandez missed practice yesterday I was concerned even if he was following the same practice schedule as last week.If you've been watching him play the last two weeks he's a little gimpy. But what really had me worried was and why I don't think he had a re-injury was I knew the Pats had the bye next week and if I recall correctly that Wembley stadium field seems a bit soggy with loose footing.So yesterday it dawned on me he might not play and so if I did not start Rudolph Thursday night I'd risk getting goosed at the spot. So I pulled Felix Jones out of my flex spot for Rudolph.I was so upset with my decision last night I turned the game off because I just could not stand it anymore. Rudolph's game sucked but at least I now I know that's 4-5 points I'd not have had and I can quit beating myself up over making what I thought last night was a miserable decision.BTW-I really think the field and bye week were big factors here so if you own Hernandez I'd not be concerned coming out of the bye and if you don't own him now might be the time to try and get him cheap.
