I am impressed. I enjoyed Season 1 of the original a little more, but this has been a solid outing and has been fun

Not really cancelled so to speak. This was a 1 season run. What it did though is end the possibility of future seasons.

Didn't really think this second run had any chance to have legs. It is so hard to catch lightning in a bottle twice. The original run was a show that was just right place, right time. Different for the time, right at the tip of the blooming reinterest in super hero genres. Great for the time, but would be hard to look special now.
Read my post. You can finish it. They are not stopping the season short. They basically said that they are likely to not have anymore new seasons. Personally, I am OK with that because this season was just OK. I was hoping they'd go back to more of the origin type stuff that actually made season 1 so good.
First season would do well at any time. It was a good show with some good actors/actresses in it and the folks like us that like the fantasy/sci-fi/not just another cop/lawyer/ER show would have watched it this year if it came out this year. Should have just killed Sylar and then the other seasons might have been OK.
