The wife wants to family to go to Hershey Park for a couple days.  We have two kids ages 17 and 5.

Worth it?

Any comments welcome, even hershey highway comments

We go every year. Live 2 hours away and make a day out of it. Sometimes twice a year. We go from open to close. Water park has pretty good slides. My kids love the roller coasters. There is a small zoo and decent rides for the little one. My kids are 15, 12, and 9. Been going since the oldest was 1.

Is the zoo and all the other stuff included with the regular ticket?

Fun place. My daughter had a soccer tournament there for a few years around Father’s Day. Everyone enjoyed

They just opened a new section, excited to be back this year.

Also make use of the preview.  You can go 3hours the night before.  Basically you go to park from 7-10 "for free" as long as you use your ticket the next day.

I think they still have reduced hours this year.

Haven't tried the new coaster yet but I rank them

Skyrush

Stormrunner

Fareinheit

Great Bear

All the other wooden ones are good. Big fan of lightning racers. I can tell you where every coaster camera is

I was born there. So that is awesome, but we moved to Michigan before my 3rd birthday so can help with the touristy parts.

I live an hour from Hershey. Haven’t been to the park in many years but like others said it’s highly regarded around here. When we pass through though, Troegs brewery is a must stop. It’s practically adjacent to the park. They have concerts at Hershey stadium so perhaps you can time a visit with a show you want to see.
