Any advice for 1 day at Orlando theme park in Oct (weekday) no kids..... possible Star Wars if the hype calmed down? (1 Viewer)

Trying to decide if it is worth the aggravation to go to a theme park in Orlando. Details.... Jus me and the wife- we are in our 50's. No kids. Would be on a Wednesday or Thursday in October. It will just be one day. I hate lines and will not waste a day sitting in long lines so was hoping October weekday would help with that. I think the Star Wars thing would be cool but once again will that be a full day of waiting in line to ride one ride? So just from first look Hollywood Studios, Universal or maybe Animal Kingdom as that seems like the easiest no lines and no BS park. Also were to stay? I assume pending what park try to stay at that park hotel for convince? Any suggestion appreciated and once again if it is a nightmare senario with lines and BS I prefer to not go. Thanks in advance

AFAIK they're all busy all the time. If I had to pick one for adults it'd be Islands of Adventure.

From my experience, hotels at the park eliminate some of the hassle but at an elevated price.

I’d agree with those that busy all the time. It will be low season with kids back in school, but you are still going to find yourself spending time in lines. It is just relatively better than summer.
