What's the point of a sauna again? It makes you sweat, right?
Yep. People say it's good for weight loss, though it's only marginal. The weight loss is all the water you sweat out, so when you leave you're a couple pounds lighter.

Others swear it's good for the skin. There's some truth to that as sweating everywhere unclogs all your pores.

Personally, I swear by it to prevent injury. I'm 40 and work out pretty damn hard with heavy weight (relative to my body weight)) some times. And I notice a big difference between when I sit in the steam for 15 minutes afterwards from when I skip it. The steamroom prevents uncomfortable joint and muscle aches
