Hi-Tech business for sale! (1 Viewer)

What's to prevent me from using 20 grand of my own money and hiring a couple of kids bto start my own company that does the same thing? There's nothing provisional here. Do you have any patents?

YES!!  I let the income accumulate until around December and then have my CPA take a look at the books.  I then split the income 5 ways and give it out.  What, I should save it and pay corp taxes to the IRS rather than give it to the folks that worked to make it in the first place.  Don't think so.
The gubment is still getting its cut in income taxes from what you pay out to the staff.  So the government comes out even whether you pay the bonuses or not, the employees come out ahead if you pay them....  leaving you where?

My offer to purchase the FFA is still pending, and I won't be able to move forward until Joe gets back to me on that.

I will not pay cash but will trade you the following:

- My free year of FBG membership (value depends on how many leagues you win...skies the limit)

- My :ptts:  shirt. Collector item in that I have to be the only person to have ever bought one. Priceless.

- I will give you lineup advice for next year's fantasy football season, but will not answer any questions regarding collusion as it is NOT collusion. This offer is null and void if you have more than 20 owners sharing a team.

This offer is good for the next 5 minutes, make your time.

Give it to me & you can have half the profit for 10 years. If the sky is the limit, you'll end up way ahead.

So you'd rather pay employees $100k than the IRS $35K and net $65k for yourself?

Sounds like you got this all figured out.

Not paying the government.

Championship!

I don't see anything wrong with taking care of the employees if they're the ones doing the heavy lifting.

GolfJim:

-What are you looking for price wise on the sale?

-You've got people who have been with you over 20 years... how close are they to retirement?  Seems like this wouldn't work without them.

-Do you think this could be run from any location in the country?

-Have you ever tried to hire more salespeople?  Do you pay a base + commission or just 100% commission?  Do you give them benefits?

TIA

Our salesgal makes 80-100K and we pay our bookkeeper 40K.  Then there is the bonus, most every year, that have been as high as 20K, each (which is 5 people).  Not to mention those owner and employee expenses that often occur, if you know what I mean.
Embezzlement?
