If you only had one roster spot left and still had an unsettled RB2 situation?

Shane Vereen - Would it still be a RBBC if Law Firm went down or could Vereen earn a featured role?

Johnny White - If Spiller has to keep helping out in the slot (Donald Jones injured), could White get featured at RB?

Da'Rel Scott - Jacobs should be in the dog house and has sucked, Ware has a concussion and Bradshaw has a broken foot. Scott time?

John Kuhn - With Starks banged up and Grant underwhelming, could Kuhn add some decent yardage to his GL TDs?

Out of the four, I would take the shot on White. Can't say I would be thrilled about any of them though.

It's a general discussion on waiver wire RBs. I doubt I'm the only one with RB needs in all of fantasyland. If it makes you feel better, just forget about my team and discuss waiver wire RBs.......or just ignore the thread.

There are a lot of RB's hurt right now, Fred Jackson being the latest added to the list. This is a very relevant thread. Personally, I have McKnight, Vereen, White, Scott and Kuhn in that order.

The Patriots will use Vereen down the stretch as a change of pace for BJGE. Vereen is a blend of Woodhead and BJGE combined. They are now entering cold weather season when they run the ball. Highest risk with highest upside in that group due to rbbc in NE. Get him now.

Coach Bill Belichick said that RB Shane Vereen has "earned more time," but was non-committal about his chances to play on Sunday.

"The more he plays in the kicking game, probably the more he’ll play on offense," said Belichick. "I know that sounds backwards but that’s probably the way it is." Vereen adds a level of explosion to the offense not seen with the other Patriots backs, but it would be an upset if he saw significant touches this week. He's still too raw.

I think only about 12 guys put in for him in our league last week.
