Even if Hines plays, I see Cedrick Wilson as a decent start week one.

Joe's edit - Updated as he's good to go now according to Cowher.

This was posted yesterday, but no matter.

Even if Ward suits up, I'm not liking this situation. This could be something that nags him all year, a la Horn last year.

As I recall Ward was bothered by a hammy last year as well and many weeks was questionable only to suit up and play. He posted pretty fair numbers. I look for him to play Thursday.

IMO, Ward is one of the most overrated WR's in the league.

Wow, is this GOOD news. He'll be limited by Batch for the 1st 2 weeks, but I think he'll pick up where he left off starting in Week 3

Any chance with Batch in that Ward actually does better than might have been expected, at least target-wise?

I could honestly see this happening, but at the same time shopping him after he gets a 2 TD week might not be such a bad idea either.

But isn't Charlie Batch the starting QB?:ew:
:goodposting: I am considering letting him ride the pine, but I do have a decent alternative. That said, he'll likley go nuts with Batch in there and finish with a couple hundred yards and 2 receiving TD's and 1 passing.
