Homeland (1 Viewer)

The guy has 2 functioning limbs, can't put more than 5 words together and he's super ninja James Bond. Makes sense.

I liked last night.  My only gripe is that I can't imagine Dar would actually go to the place that he set up to commit crimes.

As good as last season was, this season has been a disappointment. Feels more like 24 than Homeland to be honest, and thats not a compliment.

20 security guards escort the President Elect into Carries kitchen? Really?

Well, yeah.  Really.  They're called "Secret Service agents."  The number of them and their tactics looked exactly right to me for that setup.  But I question whether Keane would have really visited the scene of a crime that took place just - I think I have my in-show timeline right - a few days ago at the very most.  Seems like the press would destroy her for that.

But this was another good episode making two (wow) back-to-back.

I am digging it too.  My gripe has to do with Saul entering in Carrie's house.  She is paranoid/concerned enough to put in an elaborate security and camera system but doesn't replace a broken window in the basement door and then doesn't set the alarm so that anyone can just walk in?

A nitpick but it would have been more believable if Saul just waited outside for her or had a gizmo that disarmed her security system.

Also Saul knows that her house is under surveillance as does Keane. makes no sense for them to go anywhere near that place.

So now Dar is going to end up saving the day?  There seems to be a conspiracy to kill the prez elect?  Tonight was good, but the silly is getting to be a bit much imo.  Season finale next week.  That was quick.

Why you have to hate on Dar finding true love?

Been watching this and TWD-  battle of ... something

Hopefully no more child custody crap next season.  Going to miss Quinn.  Can't figure out the Max coming over drunk angle, he sure sobered up pretty quick when he was comforting Carrie.

Needed an excuse for Carrie to be down there, realize she needs to still clean up Quinn's ####, find the pic of her...true love.

I didn't realize it was the finale before I started it. Had no idea what they could deliver in an hour to wrap up the season, and it somehow still managed to fail to hit my expectations. Yuck

AWFUL episode in a sub par season.  That was the biggest disappointment in a wrap up since Lost for me.  And Lost was better.  Oof!

Great season, IMO. Very meh finale though. I really like the new President lady

So what happens next season? Carrie and the radio host fall in love? They take down the propaganda machine place?  The hit squad comes hunting for everyone?

also totally forgot about where I stood on the last season of this... didn't have to go too far back here to be reminded.

Claire Danes deserves a lot of credit for putting so much effort and energy into such weak material. The show has simply run out storyline.

The Alex Jones character has been the highlight so far, especially with the focus being on not only his show being a bunch of crap, but of his knowing it is a bunch of crap.

What crap about the child custody stuff. So the woman who saves 10,000 people from being gassed and then saves the President's life from assassins cant catch a break from social services because her lifestyle is too dangerous? LOL

Miss Quinn not too many characters you give a rip about now.

I've enjoyed the last couple of eps.

That Russian being tossed in the water had to be a terrifying way to go - tied up in a bag.

Just finished last season.   I'm glad Quinn finally went down.   I couldn't keep seeing him in that condition.   It was having an adverse affect on my life.  Rest in peace Quinn.

This crap is killing the show.

Also, if a wounded guy is REALLY important to the safety of the country, and the guy hunting him has already been confirmed to have broken into a hospital earlier in the season, maybe put a guard on the witnesses door.  JFC.

Great show, wife and I just started it... We're in season 2... Based on the timeline of Billions starting a few years ago, have to assume that Brody only sees another season or two.

The writing on this show went to #### a couple years ago, but this season has been impressively bad. My wife even acknowledges it but won't stop watching anyway.

FRRAAAAANNNYYYY!!!!

I can't take it any more. She's with Saul and the code breakers ready to take down the enemy and then she says "I think I'm gonna go check on my sister".  :loco:

Been binge watching this show for the past couple of weeks. Am up to season 6 already. I'm hooked.

This whole Quinn thing is sad/depressing/ annoying.

The final season. So far, a lot of closeups of Saul's beard, and Carrie's frantic emoting.

It seems impossible to tie up all the loose ends, so it wouldn't be surprising to see the show just end on a sudden ambiguous note.

On a sidenote, Beau Bridges is pushing eighty. He looks fantastic. Trim, handsome, full head of hair. He could pass for twenty years younger.

At least Carrie hasn't cried yet (I think).
