Just banged out both season in the last month. Intense show. I think my biggest problem was turning Abu Nazir from a top terrorist, Bin Laden type into a generic movie villian. Really? First he gets into the country, but then he's abducting CIA agents in broad daylight, killing the VP using his pace maker, and holing up solo in some abandoned warehouse in the sticks. C'mon.

The gap in the quality of the first 4-5 episodes of season one and the last 4-5 of season two is huge. I will definitely start season 3 but its going to be on a short leash.

Eta, the romance with Carrie and Brody was up there with the Nazir thing in the disappointing category.

Holy #### by like episode 6, every time I saw that mug start to contort and that bottom lip start to convulse, I had to turn away in disgust. Brody has some pretty annoying, overly dramatic faces and heavy breathing himself.

Wow Flap....was in the same boat as you a few months ago. I watched Boardwalk first and then went right into Homeland.

No comparison....Boardwalk much better.

 
Season 3 episode 1 has been leaked on torrent sites. Its the entire episode but its missing some VFX stuff that doesnt really add much to the viewing.

Dont want to talk anything about this episode since it doesnt premier until the 29th of this month, but giving a heads up to any of yous who want to see it already.

was decent, but this doesn't feel like the elite show out used to feel like. Don't want to give anything away so won't say any more until we all see it after premier.

Really enjoying first ep. so far. Picking up in the logical place of people picking up the pieces after the events of the finale. Very character-driven, so far.

One shocker in terms of an event that happened between seasons 2 and 3.

 
Didn't even realize this show is starting back up tomorrow night with all of the Breaking Bad hoopla. I noticed that the DVR is set to record it. This show has so much potential if they stop with the ridiculous 24-ish storylines. Here's hoping....

So I'm re-watching Season 2 before the next one fires up and I'd really like to congratulate the writers on finding a way to get ME to skip over every scene involving a 16 year old girl. Well done!

Saul is not a nice man. Claire Danes looking good though. And, no Brody = better show.

HFS, he might as well just have had someone standing behind her in her home instructed to unload a clip end of hearing.

 
You know... this is right out of Saul's normal playbook. He said those things in hopes of Carrie seeking Brody out. Maybe he thinks she knows where he is and Saul just offed six people around the world. The last person on that list is Brody and if he has to sacrifice Carrie to do it... so what. He'll try to save her but the agency is bigger than her.

Plus, when crazy Carrie is around, she is a tab bit smarter. So, maybe Saul wants crazy Carrie back just to see what she drums up.

 
Not sure what some of you are complaining about. That was a fantastic season premiere.

- Lots of Mandy Patinkin and F. Murray Abraham is never a bad thing.

- The Senate inquiry was interesting.

- Quinn going all Rambo on the bad guys was fun.

- Morena Baccarin is still hot as balls, and even the kids are slightly less annoying this season.

Color me encouraged.

 
The boy Dana is into played a major role on this past season of Dexter. Fine to recycle actors but not weeks apart on your top two shows. Looks lazy.

 
Enough Dana already! Who thought the answer to last season was "More Dana"? Also I love useless new characters, love the grandma living with the Brody family now.

Episode did end on an interesting angle, but Saul will probably be apologizing to Carrie on the next episode saying he had to do it for the Country's sake. I want Carrie vs Saul this year to be a year long fued for the truth.

 
The previews did not look promising but the premiere was fine. A decent set up. No tension however which was the key staple of most homeland episodes.
