Homeland (2 Viewers)

The main point I took from that episode was that goddamit Carrie was right again! She's going to be the new Director once RN's dip#### buddy gets offed and Saul becomes her second hand man. That sex scene is going to be very uncomfortable though.

Holy crap that was an intense episode. My heart was pounding the whole time. I cant believe i gotta wait two weeks for this to come back. They definitely saved this show. Amazing episode.

Season 3

Was hoping for a little more Bruce Willis - but maybe they make next season about Quinn.

CIA director should be brought home and hung from the capital steps - as an example. There are protocols for a reason - its so everyone knows what to do in a stressful situation. Ambassador's husband should be tortured, daily, for the rest of his life.

Like I've said before they fumble the simple stuff.

Their was no reason to have that vault scene with Lockhart making a ridiculous choice.

The terrorist could have caught up to him before he reached the vault. With Farrah along too. Quinn could have saved them at that point but let the briefcase go in hopes of getting it back. His emotional ties to Farrah being the factor. Perhaps Quinn thought he had them cornered anyway.

We'd be in the same position but it would be plausible.

Instead we are shaking our head.

Why?????

Lockhart being the Director of the CIA, he really makes some bonehead decisions and acts completely incompetent.
No way he would ever give up the book, but needed for the plot.

Quinn is going to turn into a total badass.

Another thing is, hey there is a possible breach coming as they know about the tunnel. How about anyone with a gun go to the tunnel and see if they are coming?

Did you miss the part that all the Marines left the building?

That part was not technically true. But all the marines ready for combat seemed to have left the building.

Also, Lockhart is a politician, not a career CIA guy - so its not surprising that they depict him as spineless in the face of adversity.

So to recap Carrie's time in Pakistan:

1. She bombed a wedding

2. The CIA station chief was killed while she was in the car

3. She almost killed her own kid

4. She ####ed a kid

5. She sent the kid off to die

6. The former director of the CIA was kidnapped

7. The embassy was overrun

8. The CIA asset list was handed over to the terrorists

9. The Pakistani ISI has played her like a drum.

I think she deserves a promotion.

An OK episode on Sunday. Better than normal. One thing that bothered me, though, was that they took the file out of a vault, handed it to the other guy, and when he asked what he was supposed to do with it, they said, "We need to get this to the vault!"

Why not just leave it in the original vault?

Oh yeah i forgot that no one else in the building has a gun.

I'll say that this last episode was actually pretty awesome television. This show can be so ham handed and stupid, but this was in my view just plain a good episode.

Again...the show would be 100% better if they got rid of Blondie McBugeyes. Just have a show with Saul, Quinn, (whatever character F. Murray Abraham plays) and the two tech nerds.

she was barely in this episode and it was awesome. Coincide? Last 3 episodes have been pretty amazing. Im glad this show is "back". Itll never be season 1 but its pretty good tv again.

Another thing about that sniper scene. Two cars just got hit with RPG's. They rush the Marines there and they all just stand around like they're the local sheriff's deputies investigating a two car accident.

No way the Marines arrive on at an active terror attack and just stand around like that.

Oh and I forgot all about Saul and Carrie being sniped at. Saul let's her take the gun and she hits the bull mascot. :lmao:
I've enjoyed this season a lot and don't get all wrapped up in the details like you guys do, but that scene was particularly hokey. They were just casually talking about what was happening as she's half ### mounting the M16 made me embarrassed for them.

Looking forward to where this goes.

2nd time they failed to detonate a bomb that would've drastically improved the show.

But hey, we got to see that weird ginger baby.
