Hoopsguys - FBG ventures into NBA DFS (2 Viewers)

Feels too variable for cash but not variable enough for GPP. 

 
Sabonis is making a lot of my late rosters. If they play at that pace again with Turner out then the opportunity is big. I like Oubre to fill a stat sheet in a high scoring game for low cost too. 

 
I'm having trouble building a lineup today. I can get one I like but it's $1400 below the cap. I'll go $900 under w/o a thought. But $1400 is a lot.

I liked him enough to roll him out a few times in my 40 LUs. I had a good night. Nothing spectacular but +$220. The LU I posted here was one of two bases that went over 300 pts. Half of my iterations were improvements. 100% wins h2h and a doubling of gpp entry fees. The night had everything I hope for except more at stake and that one racehorse in the top 100 or so. This is my addiction. I already feel a little burnout like I've been studying for finals. Fun!

Start with Porzingas. My placeholder from last night. Jamal Murray, Ingles, Devin Booker, Porzingas, Sabonis, Harden, Olynyk, Middleton. Sabonis had 10 fantasy pts halfway through the first quarter last night, got his face scratched and didn't seem right after that. Olynyk is a bad habit of mine but with Whiteside out the should get a few more big man stats, not sure what I saw in Ingles to put him in, but maybe it was Hood's injury. I know Porzingas is in the core group I'll build around, and I think it includeds Oly, Harden and D Booker -- maybe Murray. More later. Going to enjoy a pot of coffee and get started.

I think I'm all-in on Augustine and E. Gordon tonight. 

 
Here's the base I built on my phone between kids' soccer games this morning. 

Augustine/Bledsoe

EGordon/Ross

Middleton/Galinari

Prozingis/Crowder

Vuc

I'm not sold on Bledsoe. Considered Beverly and then spinning Porzingis into The Greek. Ross is a bit erratic for me but the minutes and tempo shoukd be right. Not at all sold on Galinari, but Phoenix. Vuc is one of several attractive C options.

It's similar to some lineups I made last night. I Porzingis Middleton already posted, some Vuc, Galinari and Gordon on other teams. Looking at totals nothing really jumps out and instead of talking about the high ones it's easier to just fade the games @Utah @NY and @Chi.   

 
Usually don't play qualifiers but did and won a ticket. Will the ticket show up the day it's good for or should I have it already? Also, where do I find it?

 
I'm seeing Antetokounmpo the same as I saw Westbrook a year ago... play at any price in any circumstance. He's beasting, mvp beasting. 

I like Curry under 9k @DK also pretty much regardless of the situation. I like Danny Green at home without Leonard against Toronto tonight. Should be a decent game and he should pack the stat sheet. So Curry and Greek busted up my budget. Totals say Wiz Nugs first. I had high hopes for Jamal Murray but it isn't happening so far. Using Oubre Jr. again for a little budget relief. WChandler is a shooter at home and coming around I think. Back to Olynyk sans Whiteside. Enjoying the drama in Phoenix and going with Ulis and Warren there. That's my placeholder. At Detroit and at Houston have totals to work with.

Tickets show up as fast as money at DK, which is slower that usual lately.

It will show up in your upcoming with a roster of players already filled out, you will need to edit the LU.  It usually shows up a day before but I have had some show day of.  Also once it has been placed in your upcoming Fanduel will send you an email letting you know you need to go edit the LU

I agree on the Greek, but damn he's pricey and I like Durant too. Tough to swing both. I'm liking anyone facing Phoenix more than usual. So I'm considering a ZBo/Hippie combo at 4 so I can afford Durant, Conley, and Beal. This is all being done while leaving my office so I invite criticism.

Big slate early in the year, hard to criticize. I am investing in the Sac Pho game on the off chance it gets stupid. I like Skal and Bender at their prices.

Here's where I am with about 25% of the time building a lineup than I should spend:

Conley/Fox

Beal/Lamb

Richardson/Durant

ZBo/Hippie

Gortat

 
I ended up (20 LUs) with as much Durant as Curry and a little Draymond. I have James Johnson as much as Olynyk. I have quite a bit of Malcolm Delaney to make room for some studs and duds entries. Otherwise I stayed fairly true to the earlier post. Still working on a cashy-er lineup for some h2h fun. Good luck all.

Ended up 2x.  Mostly used a free site for LU construction, but I will take it.  Ended up with about 290pts.  Might just try again this week. 

 
Karma what free site are you using? I have really struggles with NBA, especially with roster construction.

If I guessed right in the Harkless/Turner lottery (Harkless), I should win some actual money tonight even with quite a bit of Porzingis shares. Lots of heavily-owned land mines tonight. 

 
Managed to cash despite the 0 in one and A.Davis in the other.  One LU was 252 the other 254.  The one with Butler lucked out by having LeBron and A.Gordon. $6.50 in, $12.50 out.
