BRENTWOOD, N.H. (AP) — Police in southern New Hampshire are investigating a shooting and fire at a home.

The Portsmouth Press Herald reports that multiple agencies responded to a home in Brentwood shortly after 4 p.m. Monday.

State police are telling numerous media outlets that the shooting involved a police officer. Video coverage shows flames burning through the roof of the house.

A call to the Rockingham County sheriff’s office was not immediately returned.

The paper reports that County Sheriff Michael Downing said multiple shots were fired. He would not say if there were any injuries.

Sorry, I thought you were referring to the house on the right when viewing the video or the house on the house's left. They looked to have dodged a bullet.

Wow. I watched the video over and over and was so mesmerized that it didn't even dawn on me that it was a duplex. For some reason, I just assumed the house had two garages. Can you imagine having your entire life's possessions destroyed due to your crazy neighbor.

i wasn't even that smart. i read in the article that it was a duplex. and i guess this is just another reason not to live in a duplex.
