He came off the field and was kind of rubbing his shin, or the muscle just to the right of the shin, whatever that's called. Did not look to be serious.

There wasn't any kind of big hit on AJ, it just looked like a normal tackle. Didn't even really get the leg that he was checking out then.

I'd say it should be ruling on the field stands because it's so close.

Greg, how does the rule read on Smith's last catch? It appeared he had control but his feet weren't down.

If you lose control at any point before the catch is fully complete (control, 2 feet, football move or control through going to ground), then essentially you start over on the criteria when you establish control again afterwards.

So when he lost control he didn't complete it yet. So basically ignore anything on the play before the moment he gets hold of the ball down near his groin while lying on the ground. Which is right about when his foot hits out of bounds.
