Houston off vs NYJ def (1 Viewer)

Should I be blaming the over-rated Schaub or crediting the Jets D?
more like the texans aweful offensive line, and their o-coordinator.they need to get AJ involved early and often in games.
Revis is probably a top 3 corner in the whole league at this point. Yeah, the pass rush was a big part of it, but Revis had AJ on lockdown all game long. The kid is a star.

Schaub was basically running/falling for his life for much of the game. Jets D simply shut down Slaton's attempts at a run game, as well.

Swarming, attacking defense.

i know its week 1 and i know the Texans arent exactly world beaters....but the fact that the jets did this without Pace and Ellis makes me very optimistic.

 Same here! (long time Jet fan)As a huge bonus, Sanchez looked very good in his 1st career start

it was more the jets then the texans. i wouldnt worry too much about ur texans. great opportunity to buy low after they play ten next week

I think Schaub will shred the NYJ secondary.... AJ will be moved around, so I think the matchup w/ Revis is over-hyped.
^^^ Man, the guy who said this is an idiot!!! ^^^
That's what I call manning up! LOL...Revis is that good, but he got help today too. If Schaub had more time, AJ would have gotten more targets. The Houston game plan and O line simply were not prepared for what the Jets threw at them. Next week and beyond... teams will have some film to look at now. The Jets D won't be this good all year, that's for sure. I also expected the Texans to try to get more pressure on Sanchez. Other than Mario, there wasn't much. They were prepared to stop the run, and they did that very well until late in the game. Jenkins  that kid, the Houston center.... just man handled him all game. Jenkins has to be double teamed, or he will disrupt. Gholston had a quiet but surpriingly decent game subbing for Pace. I think Houston should have run at him more, but they went after Devito, Ellis' sub instead. The Jets also did a pretty good job on OD.
