We seem to judge a player by his weight and size alot. There is usually alot of discrepancy between college team's reported player sizes and combine official weights/heights. Do you feel this happens in the NFL alot? I've seen several players that looked far more than their listed weights

It's impossible to be more accurate than 5 lbs. That's about the amount I fluctuate depending on the time of day (ate recently, pooped recently).

Given that these guides are made well in advance of the season, if the weight is within 10 lbs, it's more a testament to the player's consistancy than the team being accurate.

I hope you have a fan in your bathroom.

A fan? He's going to need some kind of "toilet processor" for that monster. As for the heights/weights.....I'm a Steelers' fan. Does anyone else here believe for a milisecond that for the last 5 years of his career Jerome Bettis only weighed 255-260? Me neither.

 Came here to mention him. 255 my ###. Dude was 285 when in good shape. Likely pushin' 300 a couple times.
