How come there is no break this year? Even though its a 2-3-2 format they still typically gave a day bewtween games 4 and 5. Is it because its a late finish to the regular season? Just curious.
I don't know why they are not having the day off (which I am glad that they are doing the off days on travel days only), I was just proving you wrong that the start dates for the LCS were the same as last year.
Yep. If you have a three game series during the regular season, you're not going to randomly have a day off in there. Shouldn't be any different in the playoffs. One day off for travel makes sense though. Have to allow for (potentially) long trips.
Yeah, looking at last year's schedule the NLCS was:10/1510/1610/1810/1910/21And the ALCS was10/1610/1710/1910/2010/2210/25So if the NLCS went to 7, it would have been 10/23 and 10/24, with a max of 2 days that had 2 games played. This year, they have a max of 4 days with 2 games played, meaning less total prime time. But I guess they figured out that that was the best way to maximize revenue.
