Michigan has the longest freshwater shoreline in the world. Access to water alone makes that claim palatable.Michigan's great, but that's going a bit far.the outdoor life is unmatched.
Do those words actually mean anything? In the world... so you're claiming that Michigan has more freshwater coastline than Canada? I'm not even convinced it has more than Alaska, with over 3 million lakes larger than 20 acres, all fully encircled. The only website that seems to claim Michigan has the most freshwater coastline is Michigan's own site, which only compares it to other states on the Great Lakes. Is freshwater shoreline worth more than ocean shoreline for some reason?Michigan has the longest freshwater shoreline in the world. Again, I love Michigan's outdoor life, but it's matched.
IT'S MATCHED! SHAME ON YOU FOR SUGGESTING OTHERWISE YOU HEATHEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It was hyperbole. There are numerous other states with amazing outdoor life. I was just saying that Michigan is top tier.
I don't ever #### with east siders.Man, East Siders are pretty touchy.
I think you are a few years late on that idea.http://news.yahoo.com/detroit-bounces-back-from-bankruptcy-211308136.html
Detroit bouncing back... Might not be the worst idea to invest in some property there.
It is. So much better than 10-20-30 years ago. If you know where to go, Detroit is a really awesome place.Well hopefully they can come around.

I worked downtown 10-20 years ago and of course our office moved to craphole Ann Arbor just as things were hinting at a turnaround. I agree with both of you.Exactly.
