How do I Keep Birds Off Of My Lawn? (1 Viewer)

Spring is here, but my grass is looking bad.  I have this issue where anytime I lay down seed, a million birds come and dig it up.  I finally put a stop to all those meddling kids running across it, but now the birds are my bane.  I asked the little tan boys with the leaf blowers (they work next door) about it but they just stared at me.

Does anyone have any way to stop this?  I tried the post man but he was no help.  On a side note I think someone is stealing my mail.  Well, thanks for the help.  I'll check back in the morning as its almost time for bed.  Thanks.
