How do you set up your waivers for MFL.com (1 Viewer)

Its going to be 1st come first serve between now and the start of the season.

Once the season opens though - how do you like to run them? There is the standard waivers processed on Thursday and then first come first serve till kickoff.

Then there are probably 100s of other options. I am asking what option you like best.

The ONLY MUST that I need to have is open waivers on Sunday AM till kickoff. I believe in awarding people for being on their toes before kickoff.

each team has 300 beans

Blind bidding determined Thursday pm, after that FCFS at fixed price (25)

We're switching to the same system, but no price for FCFS. Do you find it's beneficial to charge during FCFS? How many teams and what are the roster sizes for your league?

16 teams, min 28 max 32 players. If you do not charge for FCFS I'd reduce the number of beans. There is strategy in beans as well ;)No trading of beans btw.

You can make a case for FC/FS or worst/first.....so we do both. We allow 2 moves/week; first one is worst/first (awarded on Fri) and then FC/FS on the weekend (ie up to kickoff). Provides good balance of helping sucky teams and rewarding people on top of things IMO. Has worked well for us.

10 teams, 17 players. Our beans are $1000 with $1 increments for bids. Do you forsee problems with this set-up? My thoughts are that it's all relative and the high balance might make for some more strategy since market values will be hard to pinpoint.Thinking about putting in the FCFS charge though..

This has been great guys - thanks - I am thinking about using the 400 beans - this is a dynasty league - and allowing 400 beans until the end of the season. I really like that idea and always thoguht it was more complicated than it is.

Does MFL.com support this?
