Geno Smith T-Rexed a lot of throws. Others were desperation throws that were technically closest to Metcalf.

But ya, lots of bad throws, contested catches, throw aways where he is close, etc.

He was open all day. Airmailed and wormburned quite a few throws.

I think it is pretty clear at this point that whatever was going on with Geno last season was an exception and not indicative of who he is now. He's certainly much improved from his early NFL days but he's going to be a significant fantasy asset or a reliably above average NFL passer.
