I'm shooting my bullets at Fannin. Strange seems like just another TE (and depending on your league, might still be on the wire tomorrow morning and not worth the burning of your priority). Fannin has a bit more shine on him, seems like the Browns are excited about him.

Won Fannin for $17 in a 12 team and $26 in a ten team where I lost Kittle. Unopposed. Also got him and Boutte with 12th waiver priority in another 12 team somehow.

NO runs a lot of plays with new head coach - that's his m.o. - and JJ had like a 28% first read share. Its going to take a while to be convinced hes startable - couple guys on Sirius fantasy love this guy

I agree, overpays on both. The guy who "won" Hunter Henry for $200 has Kittle. It looks especially bad when you consider I got Juwan Johnson for $2.

Hollywood was bought off the waivers.
Available players for free:
QJ - Nobody is buying into the hype expecting LAC to go back to their run first offense.
Boutte - I have Diggs and don't want to invest into two WRs from the same team. Someone will get him for free though.
Between Palmer + Tillman-it was simply a question of do I want a starting WR for Josh Allen or Joe Flacco? Both are in a WRC. I picked up Palmer for free.

As noted in my other post, I'm joining my first guillotine league this year (new league among friends, a first for all participants).  I haven't seen any discussion of this format in the Pool, and as it seems to be gaining some steam the last couple of years I thought it might be a good thread to start.

In case anyone hasn't heard of it before, it is a weekly total points format where the lowest scoring team of the week is eliminated from the season competition.  Their entire team then goes into the FA pool where they can be bid on by the remaining teams.  This happens each week until one...

Brock Purdy popped up on the WW. I currently have Dak and Drake Maye.

Purdy seems unlikely to play this week (turf toe plus shoulder). Plus Kittle to IR, Jennings not healthy, not a lot of guys to throw to.

I'm thinking of dropping Drake Maye. He didn't look good last week. We do have 3 IR spots, but I already stuffed them with Joe Mixon, Tyjae Spears and Jalen Coker, so if Purdy is out I'd have to drop one of them to be able to slide Purdy over.

I was about to say the same... the other thread seemed focused on guillotine leagues. To combine that discussion would be confusing... no one in typical leagues are debating Bijon Robinson, et al. Better to have a separate thread for those for sure.

What about Michael Mayer as a stopgap (if Bowers misses time)?

Third year, former bluechip prospect on an improved offense that lacks alpha receivers. Moreover, he’s a complete TE who can play every down.

If you have Bowers, I say pick up Mayer, monitor the practice reports, and plug him in if Bowers doesn’t play. May even be worth a speculative add if you have someone like Kittle.

He had four catches on four targets. I think he was targeted 12.5% of his routes run.
