Is he starting material this week? Will he be a used as a decoy? or will DEN want to get him up to speed quickly?

The Broncos have yet to prove they can function offensively at a high level without Walker. Cutler's play steadily regressed without his No. 1 WR. If Walker plays, I don't believe he'll be a decoy. The Broncos need him too desperately to avoid using him heavily. So I'm not concerned about his involvement. The only concern I have is the knee injury. He says he won't be 100% the rest of the season so it's a concern. There's no way of knowing how close to 100% he is or how good he can perform at less than 100% until we see him play.

All that being said, he's my WR2 so if he's in the lineup I'm starting him. With Smith on a bye and Branch out I don't have a choice but I'd be starting him anyway.

I agree that he will not be used as a decoy. Walker has talent and the Denver offense seems a completely different animal with him on the field.

He should be a solid WR2. I'm not starting him, but I've been busy trading for 'worrisome' WR's like Harrison (injury) and Holt (QB rotation) and believe in not resting your studs if they take the field (already had Housh).

Still, for trade offers, I consider him a solid WR2 when healthy.

Currently benching him for Galloway depending on further word of his recovery and how he progresses thru practice during the week.

I have Walker and Ward and they are going to remain on my bench until I see they are 100%. PIT and DEN both have good pass D's so this is a good week to bench them if you have other options. I am starting Mason and Engram instead.

I'm starting Berrian/R. White and Hilliard (I think he's Garcia's fav target for the remainder of the year) over Walker so far...I need to see him practice all week without set backs before I start him.

They may not want to use him as a decoy, but that might be what he ends up being if not 100%. Which would mean a good day for Marshall, perhaps. Don't own Walker, but I think Marshall will be in the lineup.

In a start 3 WR league, the only alternative I have is Demtrius Williams since Driver is on a BYE... Williams will probably get me at best 5/60 @ Buff this week....Javon? Who knows what he'll do; wouldn't surprise me if he's a late scratch. Since Javon plays Sunday night, I have to decide whether to roll the dice w/ Javon or take a pedestrian game from Williams.

With two WRs on the bye, he's in the lineup.

Not really sure what to expect this week. You figure coming off the bye, Denver is rested, and had more than enough time to prepare, and the game is in Denver on a national stage, so they should throw everything they have at the Steelers.

...but at the same time, how much do they have???

Going forward after this week, I expect him to be a good PPR/yardage receiver.

With the state of Denver's offense, and Cutler not looking particularly great, he's a low-end WR2, high-end WR3/FLEX player going forward.

If he doesn't regress in practice, I expect him to play and get between 70 and 90 yards and a TD in a losing effort.

Right now I'm starting both Ward and Walker. My options are more limited though, with LT and Edwards on a bye. If Walker or Ward don't appear 100%, I may start ARE, Derrick Ward, or Shockey instead as my flex. If they're both 100%, I'd probably start Ward over Walker.Thinking about it here, Shockey's starting to seem like a better option. :own3d:
