How good is Carl Crawford in a 5x5? (1 Viewer)

I have Carl Crawford in a 5x5 keeper league at a ridiculous price of $0.60 out of a $32 budget. I have an owner who was asking about him yesterday and I was thinking of asking for Cano ($1.10) and VMart ($0.50) for Crawford and Baldelli ($0.50).

Thinking that would be more than value enough and gives me two pretty good keepers for one very good one. I would lose a lot in SB though, which hurts. Does this deal make sense? I'm not used to 5x5 rules, I always played in points leagues.

Since Baldelli is usually injured by April 15th, I'd say it's a good deal for you. You're getting one of the Top 3 catchers and 2nd Basemen for an OF. SB's is really the only category you're getting hurt in here.

Cano and Martinez combined might steal 5 bases. Crawford is a lock for 50

Cano + Martinez = $1.60 and you'll get solid average, runs, HR (from VMart - too many grounders from Cano) and RBI but no steals

Crawford is $0.60 and gets you all the steals that are very tough to find. Can you find someone for $1.00 , when paired up with Crawford, gets you in the ballpark of Cano + VMart in addition to the steals.

Crawford is huge in 5X5 leagues.....but it might help if you tell us who else is on your team
