Yeah, that's totally true. How could I let that slip for a moment? Completely inverting the power structure of what one does when one comes into the league, being able to choose your employer vs. your employer not only holding the rights to your labor but also the salary structure is a bargaining chip sui genesis.Of course Gurley is more valuable in a vacuum, but the situation is different when you’re rostered and when you’re free. Free agents cost more as demand is higher.
