How many owners are gonna play Austin Collie this week? (1 Viewer)

In a standard scoring league...I have a choice between these 4 to fill my third WR spot and looking for some insight on who to start.

Austin Collie - I have Peyton to go along with this play. IMO Collie could be the sleeper player this week going against a

vulnerable passing JAX D. Indy needs this division win and will use everything and all regardless of

his head injury.

Collie came out flying against NE with 5/60 yds before he left the game early

which leads me to believe they will use him the same way.

Benny Obomanu - Needs BMW to play and facing a tough ATL D. Pete Carroll is a mad scientist but will BO get some

love in this one?

Lance Moore - My every other week hit or miss. Gets the targets but doesn't get the big yards and scores consistently...A

beautiful disaster and never ranked anything higher than 25 every week.

Steve Johnson - Love this player. It's tough to say he fell off because of his play...the last 3 opponents were PIT, MIN,

CLE. If he couldn't get his against a terrible MIN D what will he have against Miami? He is ranked 20th but

that may be a bit high especially with Fitz playing suspect QB right now.

I would play Finley, Favre and Ryan Grant. FWIW.

My WRs have fallen off the last few weeks so I have Collie in with my fingers crossed. If he can get me 60 yards and come out of the game healthy, I'll be happy.

Can`t do it. Collie seems gun shy ever since his bell was rung. Plus Wayne and Garcon have really picked it up.
Gun shy? What are you basing that on? He has only been in one game since the initial concussion and got 5 catches for 60 yards before he was pulled - and I don't recall seeing any reports that he looked tentative or gun shy.

Huh? Since he got a concussion he played one half and had 5 catches a lot of which came over the middle which is why he got concussed again. Not sure how that can be construed as being gun shy.If you own this guy he needs to be in your lineup. #1 WR in fantasy football the first 6 weeks of the year before his hand injury. In week 9 Collie caught 5 passes in a half and White got 3 in a half for 8 total catches from that spot. White, who's clearly inferior to Collie as a player, had a low game of 4 catches in the time he manned Collies spot why he was out. Against a poor secondary I don't see what's not to like here.

Hey Hook...if you don't wanna talk anything about any thread then don't respond to anything you don't wanna talk about.

Rolling with Collie. Only other choices are Randy Moss and Panthers Smitty. Don't trust either so praying Collie plays a full game.

Still trying to decide myself but right now I have Collie in with Boldin, Mason, Marshall, and Sims Walker on the bench.

I may insert Boldin though

decisions decisions

Collie easily over B. Lloyd and M. Austin. Now wondering if Lloyd or Austin or Best are worth starting at flex.

Starting Collie over Lloyd this week. He should get those short/middle targets.

I don't trust Tebow and wether conditions in Oakland for Lloyd.

:jawdrop:

oh my... that's gotta be the end of his career, no? :(

ETA: He walked off, thank god... but geeze.

End of season I would think. I don't know about career but when you start to look at things like the amount of concussions he has had and in a fairly limited amount of playing time this season I think his future career is a valid concern.
