Someone once had a great post with a formula for predicting the number of productive years that a player had left. It took into account the typical peak and decline years for each position, the specific player's age, and the specific player's experience. Could someone please point out that earlier posting for me? Thanks.

I think couch potato has some historical data about this that he used to create a formula. I recall him talking about it early this offseason in some of the dynasty strat threads.
I believe he said he was going to refine it and that he was going to add some discussion about this to this thread: http://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index...=296123&hl= but that still has not happened.
There may be some others who have the type of information/formula your looking for but couch potato is who I thought of foremost as perhaps being the one with the information your looking for.
