How many showers do you take before changing towels? (1 Viewer)

Growing up my mom had us use a fresh towel every day which looking back is nuts. These days I’m usually at least a week with the same towel but some days I’m showering at the gym.

  I got a new washer right after my old one was destroyed in the 2010 floods.  The dryer survived somehow.  I made the mistake of buying a new high capacity washer, while I still had a normal size dryer.

  I have a bad habit of loading up the big washer, which has been a strain over the last eight years on the small dryer.  I really need to remember to get a big dryer tomorrow when I go to Lowes.

 
I do a laundry load of towels every other day typically. I bleach my towels twice a week.  It sounds like I bleach my towels more then you dirty mofo's even wash them.  Yikes!

 
Why do you need a new towel after every shower? How dirty are you that the towel needs to be cleaned after drying you?

 
feels like the same people who use the same towel days on end are the same people that brush their teeth every once in a while

 
Once a month.  I use two at a time though.  Don’t like being cold and I have a mane that needs one on it’s own really;)

hiw often do you dry clean sweaters that you wear an undershirt with?   I’m a month at least.  Why wash something g that is basically clean?   

 
I generally don't go more than 2 uses per. But sometimes I'll get lazy and forget the laundry, so you just gotta make due. That's when I use a hand towel. Hand towels only get 1 use. It's proportional.

 
I don't change my towel but my wife just told me she changes my towel 2-3x / week when she does laundry.

Does your ### stink that bad AFTER getting out of the shower? If so, you have much bigger problems than dirty towels.

I think you have issues.

I probably go a full week, maybe 2 before washing towels.  I wear flannels/sweatshirts probably 4-8 times before washing since a t-shirt is worn underneath.  Now, underwear socks and t-shirts get worn ONCE.  Some of you guys a bit neurotic, eh?

 
Some of you probably aren't showering correctly if you get doodoo on your towel. Is there water and soap involved? 

Buncha cavemen.

Well yeah.  That could be a whole seperate thread, but at least I'm clean.
