How much cash in your wallet right now? (1 Viewer)

I think I have $43 in my wallet. Normally I pay with debit card. If I have cash, I tend to spend it faster..

I never carry less than $200 and I typically carry closer to $300. Right now--I'm carrying about $350.  I live in an earthquake zone so I always like to have some cash in hand and I generally like to always have at least a half a tank of fuel in my car at any given time.

None in my wallet as I don't carry one. $157 in my money clip. Like to havean assortment of 1, 5, 10, and 20 for whatever reason.

$68 (all fins & singles) and five cards in my fold - no wallet in decades.

When i lived in Reno, my last act of the day was always to trim/pump my br to $2300. No significance nor specific formula to the number, just seemed the right amount to get all the trouble i wanted and no more. My best pal, who moved there with me, always loved that i had cash on me and was constantly looking for reasons to call around the card rooms to find me and talk me into buying stuff he'd found. I bought a Coleman canoe in a Walgreens @ 5am once, a redwood burl table he & his wife still have, Ramsey Lewis's Fender Rhodes 88 (his sig burnt into the sound board) and, in my best move after coming home superflush one morning, my '76 Eldo convertible - all cash outta pocket off his impulses, his cheapass grinning like Michael J Pollard as i peeled mallards for his amusement.

252 - I always have a $2 bill good because they are good luck.

For those people that carry zero, how do you split up a lunch/dinner check?  I hate being that person that asks the waitress to split it six ways because nobody has cash

If I ever have less than $500 I feel like I'm walking around with no pants on. It's usually around $800 but almost never less than $500.

Have an iPhone case with a wallet pouch on the back with a folded $20 bill, my driver's license, a credit card and my debit card. That, and my keys, are all I ever carry in my pockets.

I honestly don't know how people go without cash.  I guess my history of travel has conditioned me to always have cash.  I would seriously go crazy if i had less than $20 in my wallet at any give time.

$60 (3 x $20).

I keep $10 & $20 bills in wallet and keep $5 & $1 bills on a money clip.  For purposes of this response, I did not check money clip.

I also have a hard time getting rid of my George Castanza wallet.  I have tried to reduce the amount of cards I carry but every time I go through them they all seem necessary.

$28 which is actually a bit more than usual.  I always use a credit or debit card if I can.  Only keep about $20 cash in my wallet to have "just in case."

I probably have $3 in my wallet right now.

I rarely carry cash. I use my debit card for everything.

I just checked and I have $86 in there.  I usually don't carry that much. I get $100 from the ATM every two weeks to pay our Honduran cleaning ladies $70.00 in cash and keep the $30.00 for emergencies or small purchases.  My MIL paid me 50.00 in for some stuff I bought her last week so I have a little more than usual.

$28

I more often have zero than a lot

I do always keep about 10 bucks in my car console for random things.

ATM's are everywhere and my bank waives all my ATM fees for foreign ATM's so I just take out cash and deposit it back in as I please... in fact I love taking out money at weird ATM's that have like $6-10 fees just to stick it to BoA

Three Lincolns :moneybag:  which have been there for months.  I don't remember the last time I paid with cash.
