Something like she pretended someone was dying or something, asked for donations, good people paypaled her $$, and then some solid detective work revealed it was all a scam. Something like that.

She's since migrated here. Be wary.

That is definitely when I went on that board. I didn't post much, mostly lurked, but I totally remember this event. I can't confirm much since I only was reading it and was not directly involved, but it just rings too many bells.
