The free gift you will get is eternal life if you place your faith in Jesus Christ, believing in your heart that He died on the cross and rose from the dead for your sins.

Worst gift ever. I can't wait for this life to end and Jebus wants to drag it out for eternity? Thanks but no thanks, jerkface. The free gift you will get is eternal life if you place your faith in Jesus Christ, believing in your heart that He died on the cross and rose from the dead for your sins.
It doesn't look a day older than 499.Yesterday was the 500 Anniversary of the Protestant Reformation. Interesting how time flies.
This was borrowed (or stolen) from sun worshippers.God is very much alive, for Jesus Christ rose again on the 3rd day!!!
There is/are no god/gods.
Hey, it's called progress pal ...look it up.Love how they changed all the responses at mass that were in place for decades, most of them pointless. Yeah, "and with your spirit" is much better than "and also with you". Great job catholics. When I have no choice every two years like a wedding or something, I just stay silent so I won't screw it up.
IF THERE IS NO GODThere is/are no god/gods.
But that's not really true now is it? If there is no God, than there is no reason to be moral.IF THERE IS NO GOD
If there is no God,
Not everything is permitted to man.
He is still his brother's keeper
And he is not permitted to sadden his brother
By saying there is no God
- Czeslaw Milosz (translated)
Theologians have wondered about this for 2,000 years. Thanks for clearing it up!This was borrowed (or stolen) from sun worshippers.
At the winter solstice the sun reaches its lowest point in the sky for the year (for those in the northern hemisphere). For three days, no movement north or south is detected. It's dead. Then it rises again. Christianity simply applied it to their own narrative. They did that with a lot of their claims. Very little of christianity is unique to christianity.

It came from the book of Jonah where he was in the belly of a fish for three days, which Christ specifically mentioned in Matthew 12:38-41.This was borrowed (or stolen) from sun worshippers.

That's an interesting theory, but outside of the three days part the stories don't seem to match up.It came from the book of Jonah where he was in the belly of a fish for three days, which Christ specifically mentioned in Matthew 12:38-41.
Jonah is believed to have been written somewhere around 500-400 BC.

To quote the great Rustin Cohle, "If the only thing keeping a person decent is the expectation of divine reward then, brother, that person is a piece of ####."Paddington said:But that's not really true now is it? If there is no God, than there is no reason to be moral.

I can't disagree with the great Rust, since he also said,To quote the great Rustin Cohle, "If the only thing keeping a person decent is the expectation of divine reward then, brother, that person is a piece of ####."
Coulda just quoted me, I said it in six letters. To quote the great Rustin Cohle, "If the only thing keeping a person decent is the expectation of divine reward then, brother, that person is a piece of ####."

I really do love the original quote by Einstein, who is revered by everyone, including physicists, especially since one of his most popular quotes was an illustration of him being wrong."God plays D20 with the universe."

Love it.My favorite quote by any scientist was from Wolfgang Pauli, who apparently was a real character and in response to lazy writing/thought: "That is not just not right, it is not even wrong!"
