How to set draft order in AOL commissioner? (1 Viewer)

I'm commish of a free league in AOL commissioner and can't figure out how to set the draft order.

Also, when I go into live draft, it says that the rooms will be available in July?

Thanks for the email. We are putting the Live Draft Room through the final stretch of testing, and expect to have it out by this weekend. Thanks for your patience. When responding to this email, please use the reply button and include all correspondence.

Yep, hopefully this weekend, like they're saying.

I thot AOL did a boffo job last year after a lot of early troubles. From about Week 4 on, they were golden.

One word of warning: we tried a fast live draft on AOL last year and it was a complete disaster. Site ran brutally slow. They were supposed to address this, but only time will tell...

I will say this is a little bit of an unhealthy trend. I got this email Tuesday:Thank you for contacting AOL Fantasy Sports Customer Service. The draft room is in its final stages of testing before its release, we hope to have it available sometime this week. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

You should really change sites. Sportsline is free and Has live scoring. It is way better and more reliable. I changed sites this year. We had our draft and it went smoothly. Sportsline took care of everything. They set the draft order and the time between drafts. The guys in my league love it. They say it is way better organized than AOL.

:goodposting: I thought that AOL was awesome last season after they got the early kinks out. I think that they just didn't expect quite as many league as what they got and the servers got overwhelmed. Hopefully that won't be an issue this season and they'll be well prepared. The live draft really was a disaster though. I completely agree there. The league I commish has guys from all over so we have no choice but to do an online draft and it was brutal. Picks were timing out even though guys were trying to make their selections, the draft room crashed at one point, it was pretty much a total disaster. If they have that worked out, it will be by far the best free fantasy football hosting out there. The flexibility in their setup is terrific and free live scoring is just plain awesome.

We are currently experiencing technical difficulties.Your data will not be lost. Please try again later.
Yup, looks like Sportsline is on top of things as usual. :lmao: And maybe this has changed, but from what I understood, the free Sportsline leagues have a default scoring setup that you can't change. If that's not the case I'm sure that one league I'm in would be interested in going back to Sportsline if it's free and can accomodate our league setup.

No it is just one standard scoring system. I think. You might have to email the sportsline customer service people and ask.

I used aol in two of my leagues last season and it was awesome. Yes they did have issues at the beginning of the year but so did other pay sites. In my experience of 10 years....the first few weeks of the season the sites struggle...then they work out the kinks...aol did just that. It's highly customizable and the setup was a breeze..

I didn't use the draft room though so I can't comment on that.

I also had two leagues at AOL. Both drafted live. The first one was smooth as butter. Everyone in the league was very happy and praised the draft room (previously we drafted in a chat). The very next night I did a 12 team 25 rounder. For 8 of us, there were no issues, but four really struggled. As commish, I had to keep them posted on who was being drafted, then get their pick, then make it for them. We finished it without anyone missing a pick, 4 hours later, so it wasn't a disaster, just frustrating.
