This is some good advice here. I think I’ll start with asking her a work related question about a route or transfer; the e-card is new so legit questions. And I’ll see how it goes from there.

This is actually a tough one since she's fully engaged in work when you see her.

She's probably not going to be open at all to being hit on or even chatted up while she's working.

But... I like wilked's plan a lot.

The only thing I'd tweak is don't hit her with the note too fast - build up at least a week or two of daily smiles and getting her to recognize and remember you first so asking her out seems a bit more natural.

One other suggestion to help her remember you, and it's a bit cheesy and romantic I admit, but just before boarding the bus each time, stuff a sock in your crotch.

My thoughts exactly. Dump the note. There may be a more natural ask out opportunity after a bit more time.  What city are we in?

Also too much but maybe bring her a coffee. No ruffies.

She just isnt old enough yet. She'll grow into it.

The trick is to get her to talk to you.

Every time you ride her bus, sit as close to the front and start singing, "Hail to the bus driver, bus driver, bus driver... hail to the bus driver, bus driver woman.  She drinks and she cusses and stinks up the buses, hail to the bus driver, bus driver woman..."   Keep repeating it the entire time you're on the bus.  

Do that and she'll eventually come talk to you.

Fall asleep on the bus in the back. Eventually when her shift is over she will have to wake you up. Memorize that Okinowan saying from karate kid 2 that means if i am dreaming let me never wake and if i am awake let me never sleep. 

Pull out one of those drum things and then you are in. Chicks love the karate kid.
