How unbelievable would it be (1 Viewer)

And took the Browns to the Superbowl!
Thank you for your contribution to this board. People like you are the reason I keep coming back.
If it makes you feel any better, I'm about to take the browns to the superbowl right now: http://static.zenimax.com/bethblog/oldcontent/toddsbrowns.jpgThanks for Trollololololing
Apologies, I just realized you were probably referring to Peyton Hillis. This thread makes complete sense to me now.

Peyton Manning - QB - Colts

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, "the sense around the league" is that Peyton Manning will request a trade if the Colts draft Stanford QB Andrew Luck.

Schefter believes the Colts and Manning could agree to move back the March 8 deadline to exercise Manning's $28 million option bonus to buy more time to work out a trade. Although no one knows for certain what will happen, the possibility that Manning will be with a new team in 2012, assuming he can play, is growing increasingly likely. For his part, Luck has said learning under a veteran quarterback would be "a positive."

Luck pushing the greatest QB ever out the door. Good luck kid, no pressure.

He might want to go to the Titans if they don't think Locker is ready. Same division, one of his previous home states.

On the other hand, Arizona has Larry Fitzgerald so that might be attractive. Not sure if they could swing another big trade for a QB.

The Seahawks seem to have a deep corps of talent at WR, plus Zach Miller.

Miami might also be an interesting destination with the great weather, Brandon Marshall, Reggie Bush and an emerging Fasano.

I can't imagine Peyton ending up with Cleveland or Jacksonville.

If I'm the Colts I trade him out of conference. Redskins, Seahawks, and Vikings could be possibilities, all of them would be a huge upgrade and have recently traded for or signed veteran QBs.

I wouldn't want to trade him to the 49ers, wouldn't want to stack that team with the defense they have in place.

Manning will be 36 years old next season. The Colts would be silly not to trade him IF they can get the right deal. The Colts need upgrades at a large number of positions on both sides of the ball - get an all-pro upgrade at one position and picks out of the deal and look forward to rebuilding the franchise.

If he were a FA, the Titans make a lot of sense. Although by the time Luck and the rest of the team is good enough to win a championship, Peyton would probably be retired... The Redskins make the most sense.

Instead of "follow the money" it would likely be "follow the Superbowl" for Manning. Are the Titans close enough for that?

At that age, they can trade him in division. Colts will likely not compete for the SB for 2-3 years without him (and maybe not even with him). And he would likely be done by 39.I would expect the Colts would try to put him somewhere that he can compete for a SB - out of respect. There are some great fits: Jets, Ravens, Oakland, Chiefs, Broncos, Niners, Cowboys
