How will Republicans handle inflation? (1 Viewer)

So Biden and the Democrats continue to do very poorly in the polls:

The key issue, of course, is inflation. The key number in the poll is that 57% of the public thinks that Republicans will “handle inflation better than Democrats.” That’s why we’re going to get a red wave in November- now looking like a tidal wave.

My question is: how? How will Republicans handle inflation? If they take the House and Senate as expected, what are they going to do? What will they propose? How will they fix this?

Anyone?

Blame Putin?

Just cost one hundred dollars to fill up sixteen gallons. That was a nice two years of being able to have one party in charge of two branches. GLLLlLlllllllll peas.

Unleash American productivity by:

1)demonizing business.

2)Shame companies into pay their employees more money.

3)Have them cut costs, lower prices to consumers.

4)have the D.O.J. investigate price gouging.

After that they can say it's transitory and is actually beneficial.

Judging from from the last 30 years of Republican rule they'll leave office with the economy in crisis, so that inflation is no threat at all.

"Once is interesting, twice is a coincidence, three times is an enemy action" and all that.

Michigan GOP just voted to suspended the .27 per gallon gas tax.  Dems opposed jt
Don't forget the 6% sales tax that's not part of the .27cents.   These prices are a windfall for the state.   The 6% goes to general fund.   Not our ####ty ####### roads.

Let's use Texas as an example.  How did the governor handle the crazy utility bills for his constituency after the Feb '21 cold snap?  Is there a lesson we can all learn?

It's amazing  anyone wouldn't vote Dem.  They seem to care so much.   what do they care about?

Raise taxes.

I don’t see that happening.
Taxes won't do it.    They need to suck at least 10 trillion out of the economy,  interest rates are the only way do it.

But we owe to much.  So we can't do that.  Thanks proponents  of modern monetary theory.

Digital dollars by Jan 2023 passed by dems before repubs take control.

Here come the reset

This appears to be the logic of most voters.
Of course it’s not true; it almost never is. They CAN do worse, a lot worse.
But it’s more likely they don’t do anything.

Not doing anything  is usually better than what the government does.   Let's get some gridlock.
