For example, my number one goal would to be to get humans to more than one planet or figure out a way to have a place in space besides the earth.

 
Every time Eminence approached a computer, a silverback gorilla trained for this purpose would backhand him in the sack. But I would gift him his Associates degree to even it out. Because I am a fair and just supreme ruler.

My big picture brain is in your other thread about the afterlife. My small picture brain is all that's available right now. My apologies.

 
My goal for "society" would be for every man to be free from the state, free to live his life as he sees fit, as long as he doesn't initiate aggression or violate the rights of others.

Those who need a "leader" are free to join a collective of their choosing.

 
If I (or any individual) had totalitarian control? Of the United States of America? What would one person with complete control do to rule over our democratic republic?

- Flights to the moon for vacation

Seriously? Cut the federal govt by half, remove thousands of pages of regulations, legalize all drugs, release about half the current inmates and shut half the prisons, stop selling weapons to police depts, get out of iraq and Afghanistan, build up the military, crush the cartels, finish and enforce the borders, de unionize all public employees unions, allocate 400 billion to research into new energy sources not named petroleum, simplify tax codes for all people and corporations, rebuild the infrastructure of the country, outlaw Scientology and finally, send people to mars
