Huffington Post Columnist: Trump Supporters ‘Deserve To Die’ (1 Viewer)

My money is on Nugent. That guy is off his rocks
Yup.  But Obama met Ayers once 20 years ago so it's a wash.  Right?

Just as Michelle said this is the first time I'm proud of America is a wash with Trump calling our troops murderers.

See its all the same.  FoxNews and MSNBC.  Its all the same.  No nuance nor equivalencey.

I stopped arguing Democrat v. Republican.  I tried Trump from a year ago v Trump now.  That doesnt work either.  No point trying to debate.  Its cultish.  Republicans in congress dont get it either.

So we have a random intenet column on one hand.  On the other we have a guy who said we should hang the obama's.  This week that guy was in the oval office shaking the presidents hand.

Do we understand equivalencey?
Very good point.

Doesn't dismiss the ####-ups here though.  HuffPo needs to called out imo.

1. They either don't screen their content, or even worse, this article passed the initial screening.

2. They would have such a vile pos as a contributor.

3. The article stayed up for at least a day, maybe even more, before it was taken down.

4. HuffPo never issued an apology or admitted fault.  Just the opposite.  They lied and said it was taken down immediately.

Not the end of the world, but thread-worthy imo.  A lot of people in here are fans of this site, and these are the same people who won't even open a link to Breitbart because they view it as a purveyor of hate.  In my opinion HuffPo is the mirror image of Breitbart, and I think an article like this does a reasonably good job of showing how  similar they are in appealing to the extremes with rhetoric that at times can be perceived as hate.

Joffer was making great posts long before you ever arrived.
I've been here since day 1 Chief.  Back in the Cheatsheet days.  Long before you arrived.

And who were you before General Tso? I don't believe that account came anywhere close to going back to day 1.
As usual your Notebook sucks.  General Tso was an original member.  I believe my signup date was April 13, 2003.  Here's one of my posts from the 2004 ALCS when I said the series wasn't over after the Sox were down 3-0.  Me and Peens were the only believers.  https://forums.footballguys.com/forum/topic/113601-official-sox-yankees-alcs-thread/?do=findComment&comment=1884456

And you claim you have me on ignore. :hophead:

I stand corrected. Never claimed my memory was infallible. This should prove I don't keep a literal notebook, as has been claimed.

Although, in my defense, I really didn't start posting in this forum regularly until after 2008 (was mostly in SP before that) and I don't recall you going off the deep end into (what would now be considered) Breitbart territory until recent years.

For the love of God...how dense are you? No one ever said you kept a literal notebook!! You made a fool of yourself when it was discussed and yet you didn't learn from that and go right back to that. :lmao;

You are either biased or you have your head in the sand.  The Left is out of control, and it is not just a couple of freaks.  It's mainstream.  We are headed for some very dark times.  I think you're going to see something very bad happen in this country soon.  Hope I am wrong, but I doubt it.  And we'll look back at articles like this, and paintings like that, and wonder why more wasn't done to quell the violent rhetoric sooner.
Who is inciting violence?

He made a few stupid statements but then tapped down the rhetoric bigtime.  At almost every rally after early May 2016 he would say over and over again, "Don't harm the protestors".  In the three rallies I went to there was an announcement at the start of the rally, and then Trump would always reiterate it at least 2 or 3 times during the rally,  And other than the few incidents in the early campaign season (which were played over and over again by the media) there want any notable violence against the protesters.  Actually, most of the violence came from the protesters outside the rallies.

Dude, this op-ed piece was taken down by HuffPo. Again, what more do you want?
He is either attacking minorities or being outraged that people dislike racists. Right now we are in the outraged that people dislike racists mode.

Didn't defend it at all.  Just pointing out that booth you and the Daily Wire only citied part of the headline.
Facts, scmacks...he prefers his very world view. If he can't see it in his mom's basement it doesn't exist

Didn't even read, just enjoyed your fake attempt at getting everyone riled up to your limited world view.
Oh so you're just a closed-minded troll?  Good to know.  I'll put you on ignore now. Bye bye idiot.   :bye:

They are very similar.  To be intellectually honest you can't have differing viewpoints on each one.  They're the same animal.
and it was deleted...yet a guy that says the obama's should be hanged was in the oval office shaking the hand of the president

Good job being ridiculous though

I suppose that depends on perspective. If you're a wealthy, white, high income male, maybe nothing. If you're anyone else, on a personal level it ranges from loss of rights to deportation to impending loss of healthcare. If you care at all about the environment, plenty of reason for concern. If you place any importance of your government being transparent, you're ####ed. If you care about your country's global reputation, it sucks now, you're a laughingstock who has managed to disrespect key allies like Germany and Australia. If you like having a competent, fully staffed, functional government, better luck next time. Hell, even if you voted for him, he has shown how little he actually knew about NATO, building walls, Iran/Nuclear deal, China's Currency Manipulation, etc... but I guess his mindless voters fall for his "No one could have known how complicated this is..." shtick. He sure is good at golfing and pimping out Mar-a-Lago though. Congrats Trumpies, good job.
This deserves many many more likes.

:lmao:  General Tso starting threads on misleading and faulty grounds?  No way!

The best part is he and a few others start these threads thinking they are helping themselves or their cause.  You don't even really need to respond, Tso and company will do the work for you.

At this point you have to assume he's 13 or doesn't really have great comprehension skills

You went to THREE of this maniac's rallies? Clearly you're the unbiased voice of reason here. DJT is a freaking disaster and his policies and positions have put this country on a very bad path. The whole what has he done bad shtick neglects to look at the medium and long term effects that his terrible actions will have.

That isn't true. They thought it was inappropriate and took it down. Mistakes will happen with any publication (we could make a entire list from your fave Breitbart). What is significant is that they recognized their error and corrected it. If it was still up you might have a valid point, but you don't.
If they thought it was inappropriate they never would have put it up.  It's not like it was borderline.

I've been very fair and honest when it comes to my views on Trump.  He's been disappointing thus far but the world hasn't come to end either, let's be real.

He's either incompetent and hasn't accomplished anything in his first 100 days or he's a Russian agent destroying the world.

Huffington Post is like Breitbart.  It's not really a news organization.
:lmao:

Its nothing like Breitbart.

Both websites feature news reporting  and opinion pieces. But on Breitbart the news reporting is almost always complete BS. At Huffington Post, the news reporting is usually linked to respected sources like AP and CNN.

Thus, if I go to Huffington Post and see a news headline (not an opinion piece but a news headline) I'm pretty sure it's trustworthy. If I go to Breitbart and see a news headline, I'm pretty sure it's not.

Complete and utter bull-####.  The same HuffPost that would only cover Donald Trump in the Entertainment section for the first 7 months of his campaign?  The same HuffPost that put a trigger warning on any article mentioning Trump?  The same HuffPost that after the NH Primary had as its headline "NH GOES RACIST SEXIST XENOPHOBIC"?

They are exactly the same as Breitbart.

The grapefruit is good too, but needs more soda. The peach I can almost drink straight.

The appointment of Scott Pruitt alone has guaranteed Trump will go down as one of the worst Presidents in history. The corruption is just the icing on the cake.

The farther you move left or right the more these highly partisan sites look like legitimate news organizations.

Once you go down one of these rabbit holes free time becomes your enemy.
