Curious to see what people think here. Let's assume current conventional wisdom holds and Clinton and Trump are the major party nominees. In a hypothetical where Sanders and Cruz both decide to make an Independent run, how do you think it would play out? Who would you personally vote for?

IIRC if no one gets 270 Electoral votes the election goes to the house. Republicans control and elect Trump. Cruz is too scary. I vote for Bernie.

In my opinion Bernie running is the only way Trump could conceivably win, which is why I think he's highly unlikely to run past the convention. I still suspect Hillary would win with Cruz also in the mix, but the election being decided by the House is certainly possible.

Do this with Hillary, Donald, Gary Johnson and Stein/Sanders, and bump it for a couple weeks, and see where this lands.

I agree. Only way possible for Trump to win is for Bernie to run independent. With him laying off campaign workers it doesn't look like he is contemplating that.

I think Trump runs independent even if the GOP goes to a contested convention and picks someone else which will split the GOP.

All these people supporting Trump are doing their best to hand the White House to Hillary. They are too dumb and/or too mad to understand that.

Hillary and Bernie split the lefty vote; Cruz is a weird creep, Trump wins going away.

I vote Bernie here, I guess. I hate that he's pinker than an Indian River grapefruit, but he's the only one of the 4 with any semblance of authenticity and a conscience.
