I know the primaries are still a long way away, and the Nominees are far from decided, but humor me. Lets assume that Clinton and Bush win their respective party's nomination. Lets further assume that Sanders and Trump decide to stay in the race as independent or 3rd Party candidates.

How will that impact the vote?

I don't think either Sanders or Trump would enter the race - as it could impact their respective party. But if they both entered, I think it could be a fascinating election.

I would not vote.
Thats fine. A valid position imo.

I think voter turnout will be very interesting. If the election ends up being Clinton v. Bush, I think we will see the lowest percentage turnout in a very long time.
Yeah, very bored over a Bush v Clinton. And the two other current options are unappealing as well.

Wasn't trying to be a doosh in the thread. Just wouldn't be voting for President in this situation.

With that group, pretty straight forward (Bernie.... "It's finally time for some BS in the White House")

I would watch the polling and whoever had the best chance, Bush or Trump.

Then I would go home and punch myself in the face over and over and weep for my country.

Bernie Sanders is this cycle's Ron Paul. You'll see flyers and shirts everywhere but when it comes time to vote, he's barely going to make a blip on the radar.

I think you're wrong. Ron Paul was saying stuff that the GOP base did not like. He got booed at the debates when he talked about foreign policy. Sanders's policies are very popular with Democrats.
