I am starting Bowe AND Chambers over ______ and ______. (1 Viewer)

i'm starting both of them over megatron and crabtree. KC has a semi-high-powered offense and should be down a lot for that game thanks to their defense.

Somebody's going to have to catch the ball and these 2 are the only threats in KC besides Jamaal Charles in the mix.

Am i crazy risking this much on my championship game?

Yep.

Only 2 teams have given up less points than Cincinnati. Only 6 teams have scored less points than Kansas City. You need to look past Cleveland and focus on the big picture.

And yes, you're crazy.

I'm a bowe owner and he might get one, maybe better than Crabtree but I doubt it. Cincy is not going to let them go off.

Only going Bowe if Nicks is out next week. Cincy is tough and will probably pound the ball limiting KC's possessions

I've got Bowe starting in my TD only league with Boldin. I also have Harvin but I'm still worried about his concussions. (Also have Nate Washington and Johny Knox...)

Define "semi-high powered"

Kansas City is:

16th in pass attempts

25th in completions

26th in yards

27th in yards per attempt

17th in TD passes

Cincinnati D is:

11th in TD passes

7th in yards per attempt

15th in yards

10th in completion %

18th in completions

24th in attempts

And they have arguably the best cornerback tandem in the league.

Detroit & San Fran (they face each other) pass defenses are much worse than Cincinnati and their passing offense is just about equal in every respect to KC.

I wouldn't play anyone aside from Charles on the road at Cincinnati.

would have been a decent strategy last week against the Browns but I don't know why you'd want to do it this week against the Bengals. Don't know if anyone really expects the Chiefs to be competitive this game.

This.and Bowe looked more than rusty coming off his vacation. not a good matchup - except maybe for the CIN D. i played Bowe last week, and it wasn't very pretty. he did drop a easy TD early in the game though.i'd think you should have better options.
