I cant open my spreadsheets in google drive? (1 Viewer)

prosopis

Arizona Chupacabra
Any ideas?

I am unable to open any of my spread sheets in my google drive.

I get a loading error. I have cleared the cache/cookies. I cleared all downloads. Clearing cache/cookies is what the error number 32050 tells you to do but it is not helping. I can open documents. I tried creating a new spread sheet and I can not do that either. :wall:

Whats up?

I am now guessing the next step is to do a hard reset on my chromebook? I have tried everything and still no luck.

I am really getting frustrated.

Just bumping this because we have a ton of expertise in the FFA

Sorry, prosopis, I lost track of this thread. Were these spreadsheets created in Google drive or were they originally created in another program? Have they opened in Google Drive in the past but now won't? Are you accessing these on a Chromebook or Windows PC?

Yes, created in google drive.

I have always opened them in google drive

I am on a Chromebook

It worked fine 4 days ago.

I would first check to make sure it is updated with the latest firmware update. If not, update it.  If that doesn't work, I would try a Powerwash. A powerwash will reload/update all firmware and basically make the chromebook like new again.

Can you share the drive folder with a family member and see if they can open the files on their own device?

Open an Incognito window then access Drive.  This should disable your extensions.  You will have to log in to drive, but worth a shot to troubleshot if an extension is causing an issue.

I tried this and got the same error

If I do a powerwash will I lose everything?

I seemed to have fixed my problem.

I went into clear cookies/cache and this time I did the advanced clear and checked everything. I am now able to get into and edit my spreadsheets. I am pretty sure I did this a few days ago and it didnt work

Not sure why it worked now but I am not going to worry about it.

Now that I am out of work I can spreadsheet how screwed we are.
