I didn't vote today and don't plan to (1 Viewer)

I'm still on the fence; it will depend on how I'm feeling after work. I live 20 minutes from my polling place, it's cold outside, and I'm lazy. NY is already locked down for Obama and there's no real close local races/props that I know of. I'm voting third-party anyway, so my vote is meaningless.

I wont vote today either
And I don't plan to either.
Same here. I live in a location that votes 90% Obama, and we don't vote for any US Representatives, Senators, or Governor. There are also no interesting ballot questions. Why should I waste my time, again?
:goodposting: No reason to vote in DC today. Our elections are in the spring.

Would be nice if the Tea Party would come out in opposition to taxation without representation, given its name and all. Instead they side with the party that imposes taxation without representation. Irony!

My work load is probably dictating that I don't. Couple that with the fact that I'm a Republican in Illinois....

I did vote for Change back in 2008.

This year, I don't have the same optimism. Chris Rock did persuade me, however, to vote for Obama again if I decided to cast my ballot.

Did not register (moved here late last yr) - Obama has done the worst job of any President i've ever voted for & the smug, self-congratulatory tone his '12 campaign has taken makes me wretch; while i think Romney could possibly do a decent job of operating the govt (such as it is), his ambition has overridden any positive qualities he might offer and, though I like my ol Gov GJohnson, the entire Libertarian agenda is naive & silly, so i'm passing on the whole thing. I was going the register to vote for Liz Warren - one of the few public figures who's actually done something for regular folk - but she has been thoroughly outcampaigned by Scott Brown (who ran the best campaign i've seen in the Big Media age, btw) and i wont reward that with my support. First time in 40 yrs as a voter i've been unregistered for a Presidential campaign season.

Voting may be the most over-rated thing people do in life.

Whoa, whoa, whooooooooooa.
 You gotta kill the momentum and do the awkward repositioning. I'd rather focus all my attention on giving or receiving. Multitasking takes away from both.
Do you get pissed when your SO backs that thing up during actual intercourse? Or do you think they should just lay motionless because it's giving time?

Once again I completely agree with Jewell. It's strictly for porn and high school kids who can't enjoy one-way action for very long. This subject really deserves its own thread.
