I don't understand Choice's ranking this week... (1 Viewer)

There is no chance I would start Forsett, Woodhead, Dixon, Westbrook, Ronnie B, or Starks over him.

He is ranked as the 35th RB this week. That just seems too low. Jerry Jones has said a few times he'll get a lot of carries.

He is going to get at least 15 touches and goal line work. It should be a high scoring game with Defensive injuries.

The Cowboys should be able to reach the goal line at least 4 times where Choice will get shots.

I'll be shocked if any of the guys mentioned above finishes better than Choice. Not because I think Choice is going to go off or anything.

I just for sure do not think those guys will get more than him.

I'd guess 70 yards rushing, 20 receiving, and a TD for Choice. He'll finish in top 20 this week.

Just my .02, what do YOU think?

T-Cho will have a nice week. at least 70-80 total yards and scoring chances.

I had already decided to play them both (large league with weird roster considerations) BUT saying Choice is Top 20 is a bit much......yes he will probably outscore those you mentioned but that does not get him into the Top 20 RB

I'm thinking he will have a nice game, especially if he gets at least 15 touches. Makes me a little nervous to start as he's been on my bench all season, and they say don't get cute in the playoffs but you gotta see the trend in PT with MBIII's injury and all. For peeps like you mentioned, and others in that category (for me BJax) I think Choice is a good start.

Why is this guy the goal line back again?

1-1-IND1 (5:09) (Run formation) T.Choice right tackle to IND 1 for no gain (G.Brackett).

2-1-IND1 (4:27) (Run formation) J.Kitna pass incomplete short left to M.Austin (K.Dawson).

3-1-IND1 (4:23) (Run formation) T.Choice left guard to IND 1 for no gain (E.Foster, P.Angerer).

4-1-IND1

(3:36) (Field Goal formation) PENALTY on DAL-D.Buehler, Delay of Game, 5 yards, enforced at IND 1 - No Play.

4-6-IND6 (3:34) D.Buehler 24 yard field goal is GOOD, NULLIFIED by Penalty, Center-L.Ladouceur, Holder-M.McBriar. PENALTY on IND-E.Foster, Leverage, 3 yards, enforced at IND 6 - No Play.

1-3-IND3 (3:30) (Run formation) T.Choice right tackle to IND 2 for 1 yard (J.Lacey).

2-2-IND2 (2:48) (Run formation) T.Choice left end to IND 2 for no gain (D.Muir).

3-2-IND2 (2:43) (Shotgun) J.Kitna pass short left to J.Witten for 2 yards, TOUCHDOWN.

Same thing happened to AP this year. I guess he shouldn't be the goal line back either? To answer your question, "Because he's run plenty in from inside the 5 when given the chance".

Because he is better than Felix there. quit whining.

I am an Eagles fan and I like Choice this week, especially with Samuel out. I'm starting Choice over Forte, especially in that weather mess vs. NE.

I haven't had a chance too see Choice in action much until last weekend and a few plays here and there over the years, but is he a legit talent? Sounds like he is as complete as they come, but just not spectacular in any phase of the game. Doesn't have the speed of Felix or strength of Barber. He had some good runs last week and too me looked like he could accelerate quickly and had good lateral movement and vision. I thought he looked better than Jones, but am going off a small sample size.

If I had to say yes or no top 20, I'd say no. Dallas hasn't ran the ball well enough and he's still got Felix Jones to deal with plus Philly isn't an easy matchup. You can't just go off of the 100 and a TD against the Colts, they are BAD against the run. Chris Johnson who's been dead the previous 2 weeks ended up with 100 plus, a TD and led the Titans in receiving. He's very good but the common theme here is that the Colts stink and have stunk for awhile against the run.Things will be a lot tighter against Philly. To me, the weakness Philly has is in their secondary. I think for Dallas to be successful, they will need to exploit that secondary which will require Kitna to have pass protection.I expect the Eagles to bring pressure/blitzes to help with that pressure so that that secondary doesn't get exposed. However, this game is at home for Dallas so it won't be as hard for that offensive line to pick up the blitzes. Still, it's Kitna and he's not the most mobile so I could see him making a very costly mistakes and some point during the game via inerception. If you tell me right now that Kitna passes for 250 yards, 2 Td's and 0 interceptions, I think the Eagles have little chance to win the game, but no turnovers by Kitna is a huge IF.If Choice ended up with 100 yards and 1 TD, that would be a huge bonus, I just don't see that happening unless he somehow busts a long one, but I would expect that would come from Felix rather than him.Good luck though if you're starting him, I hope he does well.

I dropped Forsett for him,

I gotta choose 3 of these 5.. lucky me

I have both Felix and Choice. I started Felix last week. And I'll say this....Choice looked better of the two.

Felix did ok. Choice was explosive. Turned the corner a few times, and was good in open space.

What was more telling to me than anything else, Choice had more second half carries that Felix. I believe he is the goal line back simply because he has taken over for Barber. He comes in on certain packages, etc.

Considering Choice had more touches last week, and should be the goal line back, I would rather start him over Felix.

I think Choice should have the better game than Felix thinking about it analytically . Unless of course Felix busts a big one. (Which is very possible against this Eagles D)

Im gonna sit BOTH Felix and Choice and avoid this game altogether and play Dixon. Gonna collect my 60 yds 2td's from him and win the "sneaky" award, Ha!

Think I'm going to roll with Starks, hope he gets a GL carry and a lot of yardage in garbage time after GB scores a ton of points.

The Cowboys played the Eagles in week 17 and in the wild card game last year. Felix Jones had 30 carries in those game for 230 yards and 2 TD's. Another speed back, Jahvid Best lit the Eagles up for 40+ FF points in week 2 this season. I think Felix might be the better play?

Based on? Try finding some stats to back that up.
