I Have Never, EVER.. (1 Viewer)

"Walker said he'll still root for some Green Bay players, including cornerbacks Al Harris and Charles Woodson, tight end Bubba Franks and receiver Robert Ferguson."

I'm shocked that he singled out the biggest a-holes on the team.

Well he's always been a ########, can't understand how this is even FBG newsworthy. I guess everyone is done w/their drafts.

"Obviously, we have a chance to be a Super Bowl team," Walker said Wednesday. "Obviously, they have a chance to win four games."
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: he also said:
"I love those guys, and I always want to see them do well," Walker said. "I want those guys to be successful."
what's the fuss about?

That was a pretty funny quote...however, I don't think he gives two ####s about winning a SB. If the Packers had paid him more than Denver he would have stayed put.

For his sake he better prove himself. At this point all he's had is one good season. In my book that's called a fluke unless proven otherwise.

What do you expect the guy to say? "Even though they wouldn't redo my contract, Favre publicly called me out, the team's prospects are not looking up this year, and Green Bay is the whitest place in America, I still wish I was a Packer"?

God forbid he gives an honest opinion of what he thinks.

He has every right to give his opinion, how does that make him a jerk?

It would have been really ridiculous if he'd said something like "the Packers are a more talented team than any team they've had in the last 15 years." You know, something like that.

Tom Brady - 2001

For taking my favorite QB's job. It's not right I know, but when he got hit in the knee during the AFC Championship I was

:goodposting: Walker may or may not be an idiot, but he is free to express himself. We, on the other hand, do not have to listen to him...

Good for Walker, the Packers didn't pony up for him, then he has an awful ACL injury. Plus we now can maximize Donald Driver's potential now.

BTW: Did anyone notice how much bigger Donald Driver looked the other night? He looked like he added a lot of muscle to his frame...maybe getting on the TO body workout or something. He looked kinda frail early in his career.

True, true.I have pretty much hated the guy since he compared having to play another year of football to being sent back to Iraq for another tour of duty.

...in before Fla\/\/ed's "Someone said something bad/mockulatory about Favre! I must defend his honor!" spidey-sense sends him rushing in here to call you a hater. :pickle:

Who said anything about Fa\/re?

Was that not Favre's quote (paraphased) about the talent of the current GB team?

Sorry if this is a bit off the theme of this thread but it fits under the title. If I were to root for a player to get injured it would have to be TO. The biggest team cancer I can ever remember.

IdiotThere was nothing written about Favre here.

If I were to root for a player to get injured it'd probably be a guy who tried to run his pregnant girl over with a car or beat his significant other on numerous occasions.

No kidding. He didn't throw them under the bus. He stated that they are a bad team and he's happy to be with his current team. Non-story. GB IS a bad team and his current team is much better, of course he'd rather be in Denver. All this talk of how he's a huge #####, well this is the first I've heard of that. If these kinds of statements are what make him a huge #####, I guess he can sit right next to me on the ##### bus. I've been known to speak my mind and tell the truth in a sarcastic manner ever now and again as well....ETA, why can't I say Eh-Hole but someone else can call him a ########? PC Board police need to look into decaf

Is Michael Pittman your guy then?

See my post above about how playing another year of football without a new contract is like being sent back to Iraq. The guy is a ####in tool.

######## is not really a swear word. It's a common hygiene product. But it applies to Walker. And plenty other NFL players :)

You got a five year old kid. Which would you rather have his grand parents hear him yell? Eh-Hole or ######## at his little brother? It's really more of a hypothetical. I guess I would probably laught at both!?!?

I can't stand when players do this. It always make them look bitter and petty whether the team was at fault or not. If I was Walker's agent, I would counsel him to be the bigger adult about the situation and shut his pie hole. Otherwise, he could develop a reputation for being another Owens - whether it's deserved or not.

Of course, nobody said these guys were the sharpest tools in the shed.

Actually I wouldn't want a five-year-old use neither.

The same could be said for Larry Johnson. Is he still a fluke, too, until further notice?
Exactly. A guy has to have 1 good season before he can have a 2nd. If you wait till after the 2nd you pay through the nose for the guy.....
Different situations. Walker was draft to be a starter and didn't do squat for 2 years (being paid a lot of money btw). LJ was drafted to be the heir to Priest Holmes. He had to wait to show what he was capable of. When he was able to take the field (with Priest losing time to injury the last 2 years) he definitely showed he was the real thing.Walker is definitely talented but he shouldn't be talking like he's Randy Moss or T.O.
